Orlando Shakes will stay in its current location at the John & Rita Lowndes Shakespeare Center in Loch Haven Park until at least January 2043. City Council approved an updated lease for the site of the former Orange County Historical Museum, which the performing arts organization has called home since 1999.

The rent will remain $1 per year as long as Orlando Shakes hits its minimum performance requirements of at least 100 events per year. The organization will also be responsible for all building repair and maintenance.
