Lee, Mack Earn Weekly Ivy Men’s Basketball Awards


PRINCETON, N.J. – Following strong weeks on the hardwood, Princeton’s Xaivian Lee and Harvard’s Malik Mack earned weekly Ivy League men’s basketball honors.
 
The league is 33-20 (.623) overall with six teams (Columbia, Cornell, Harvard, Penn, Princeton and Yale) owning winning records. The Tigers are one of 24 remaining unbeaten teams – five of their six wins have come on the road or at neutral site locations. 

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Xaivian Lee, Princeton G

  • Averaged 24.5 points per game on 55.9% shooting from the field and 40.0% shooting from beyond the arc in Princeton’s 2-0 week
  • Dropped a career-high 30 points in Princeton’s win over Northeastern on 11-of-21 shooting
  • Was 8-of-13 from the floor with 19 points, three assists and four rebounds in the Tigers double-digit road win over Old Dominion

 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Malik Mack, Harvard G

  • Averaged 21.5 points, 5.5 assists, and 3.0 rebounds per game last week
  • Was 15-of-18 from the free throw line, 12-of-26 from the floor and 4-of-10 from 3-point range
  • Had 16 points and 8 assists in Harvard’s road win over Colgate and put up 27 points against Indiana
