What a fantastic opportunity to attend an excellent presentation of “Beauty and the Beast” in the beautiful new Nelson Performing Arts Center at Wisconsin Dells High School.
Our school district tried for decades to pass a building referendum that would include an auditorium, something every other surrounding district has had for some time. What the voters refused to support, finally we have, thanks to Todd Nelson.
The student and community participation, attendance and response to this first event is proof that pride in their surroundings translates into young people’s pride in their performances and into community attendance and pride.
We can all look forward to future wonderful presentations by students of WDHS. We have excellent leadership and faculty and support staff that deserve the support of all district residents, whether or not we have students in the school system.
