Liam Neeson Was Barred from Attending Church After Admitting to ‘Evil Practice’

As a teenager, Liam Neeson told a Catholic priest something that wasn’t safe for work. This made him feel ashamed.

During an upcoming interview on the latest episode of Conan O’Brien’s podcast, Needs a Friend, the action movie star will say that he was an altar boy at one of the town’s churches when a missionary from Africa came to visit.

Outside the confessional, he saw a group of “old women just kneeling down and saying their prayers,” which made him want to make a confession himself.

But things got worse when a priest let out a loud gasp when he told the priest that he liked to please himself.

Neeson said that when he told the priest about an argument with his mother and a fight with his sister, the priest just shouted at him.

“You what?!’ This guy, literally, I mean, he almost said things like, ‘The grass will grow over the palm of your hand before you’re 21! Stop that evil practice!’” the star said.

After the experience, which the old women outside saw firsthand, the Taken actor said he was too embarrassed to ever go again.

Liam told O’Brien, “That was the last time I ever went,” to which O’Brien answered, “I think that’ll do it.”
