Liam Payne Was Charged with Over Speeding in London

Liam Payne was supposedly given a fine for speeding in his pickup truck in West London.

A camera caught the One Direction star going fast in his Ford Ranger Wildtrak Deranged Edition, which he owns.

The Sun says that Liam was driving at 43 mph in a 30 mph zone. He has been fined around £125.60 (US$125.60) because of this.

The singer also got three points for breaking the rules. His truck is worth $35,000 (US$43,966.50).

The event is said to have happened on the Hammersmith bridge in February of this year.

The news source said that Liam’s case was heard at Lavender Hill Magistrates Court on Monday, but he wasn’t there.

Last week, Liam said that he was postponing his planned tour because he had a serious kidney infection. This news got out.

The singer also asked his fans to get their money back and promised a “better show when he’s well enough to do it.”

In a video on his Instagram, Liam said, “This really is the last thing I wanted to be telling you, but basically, I’ve been a little bit unwell recently and I ended up in hospital with a bad kidney infection.”

“We started rehearsals and I’ve just been advised that now’s really not the right time to be out on the road while I recover from this,” he said.
