Liam Payne’s Ex Maya Henry Just Revealed Which One Direction Star Threw Liam Against A Wall — And Had A “High Likelihood” Of Never Using Their Hands Again

Liam ended up being mercilessly roasted after he made a series of wild comments on the show. This included claiming that One Direction was created around him back in 2010, and that he was always intended to be the frontman.

It was later revealed that Niall Horan was actually the first of the five members to be put in the band, which was created on the British series of The X Factor.

Liam also insisted that he’d enjoyed the most success as a solo artist than any other member of the group. Discussing his debut single, “Strip That Down,” Liam bragged at the time: “I think it outsold everybody within the band, and I was the last to go [solo]. And I never expected that.”

As it happens, when Liam’s podcast appearance was recorded, Harry Styles’s Grammy-winning song “Watermelon Sugar” was the most streamed solo single from a member of One Direction, followed by two more from him, and three of Zayn Malik’s tracks.

“Strip That Down” actually placed seventh at the time, and Liam’s 2019 solo album, LP1, also didn’t enjoy the same amount of success as his former bandmates’ debuts,  peaking at No. 111 on the Billboard 200.
