The Land Has Spoken plays on Friday at 7:30 p.m. For more information and to buy tickets, go to the Mount Baker Theatre’s website.

Well, we won’t spoil it for you. To get a look at the photos and hear the story first-hand from Robertson, head on down to Fairhaven on Saturday, Oct. 19. Th presentation starts at 3 p.m. Go to the Village Books website to reserve a spot.

If art is more your thing, you’re in luck too. The Cordata Gallery presents Color and Line: An Exploration of Three NW Artists. It’s an exhibition showcasing the work of local artists Renee Noelle Cheesman, Johannes Kunst and David Syre, three artists with a shared appreciation of color and linework.

Color and Line runs through Jan. 25 at the Cordata Gallery (465 W Stuart Rd., Bellingham, WA). The gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Our featured live show this week is a must see for lovers of post-punk and indie rock. Hailing from Montreal, Cola will mesmerize the crowd at the Shakedown with rhythmic grooves, angular guitar licks and introspective lyrics. Think Television, Joy Division and Sonic Youth.

Opening for Cola is Mind Shrine with their psychedelic take on dream pop. The show starts at 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct 18. Go to shakedownbellingham.com for tickets.
