NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) – The Lincoln County Commissioners discussed a wide range of topics on Tuesday.
County and district representatives as well as Judge Cindy Volkmer brought a courtroom technology project to the commissioners to discuss and consider approving.
Network specialist for Lincoln County Government, Dave Pate, mentioned what this project will mean for county courtrooms.
“It removes that old equipment and replaces it with equipment that is more compatible with zoom and has more flexibility.” Pate said.
The commissioners also reviewed Tyler Volkmer’s fourth revision to a new prospective Lincoln County Employee manual. Among discussion was adding Juneteenth as an official holiday for Lincoln County employees to take off. District 4 representative, Chris Bruns, mentioned that adding the holiday would make the county in sync with the state’s designated holidays.
