The Leander ISD finance department is being honored with two budget-related awards that reflect the district’s excellence in school budget and high-quality financial reporting. 

LISD earned the prestigious Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) Certificate of Excellence (COE) in Financial Reporting for the district’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024. Participation in the COE program highlights a school district’s dedication to financial accountability, and the COE distinction supports bond rating and continued bond disclosure processes. 

In addition, Leander ISD also earned the ASBO Meritorious Budget Award in the fall of 2024. This award reflects the district’s commitment to sound fiscal management and budgetary policies.
