Lizzo is being sued again for harassment, even though she just got out of trouble for sexual harassment.
In a new, harsh complaint, Lizzo is criticized again for supposedly making the workplace dangerous.
Three dancers sued the Grammy winner less than two months ago, saying that he sexually harassed them in shocking ways.
Asha Daniels was hired to work in Lizzo’s wardrobe department for her 2023 tour. In her most recent lawsuit, which Page Six got a copy of, she says that the singer’s manager, Amanda Nomura, made her feel bad about herself and hurt her physically and mentally.
According to the claim, the wardrobe manager told Daniels and other staff members that she would “kill a b*tch” or “stab a b*tch” if she couldn’t find the medicine.
Even though Nomura worked for Lizzo, who is black, she is said to have called black women “dumb,” “useless,” and “fat.”
The boss is also accused of “shoving a crew member” who threatened to quit, “snatching food” from a worker’s hand, and threatening to “kill a b*tch” if anyone tried to take her job.
Daniels also says in the case that Nomura hurt her before by rolling a clothes rack over her foot.
According to the designer, Lizzo and workers at Big Grrrl Big Touring, Inc. (BGBT), the production company run by the “About Damn Time” singer, knew about Nomura’s alleged pattern of behavior.
In addition to talking about her problems with Nomura, Daniels talks about some of the supposedly inappropriate things that happened while she was working for Lizzo.
Daniels is asking for money for a number of things, such as sexual and racial abuse, not stopping a hostile work environment, discrimination against people with disabilities, and breaking labor laws.
