Lizzo Makes Her First Public Appearance Since Being Accused of Sexual Harassment

Lizzo made her first public appearance since she talked about being bullied and harassed.

The 35-year-old singer posted a bunch of pictures of herself having fun in Tokyo, Japan, on Instagram on Friday.

In the video, the singer of “Truth Hurts,” who was sued by three former dancers earlier this month, showed off her colorful and unique outfit. Her dance groups sent her a joint message of support.

Lizzo, whose full name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, put “From Shibuya, with Love” in the text of an Instagram photo she posted.

This is her first post since she told her 13.3 million Instagram followers on August 3 that the case was a “false allegation” in a statement.

Nine people who used to work for Lizzo have come forward with serious accusations of bullying and sexual harassment against her.

Even though she was recently sued for sexual abuse, Lizzo’s dancers have said in no uncertain terms how much they like her.

In a message posted on Instagram on Thursday, Lizzo’s dance group, Big Grrrls and Big Boiiis, shared how they felt about their time on The Special Tour.

“We have had the time of our lives on The Special Tour. The commitment to character and culture taking precedence over every movement and moment has been one of the Greatest lessons and Blessings that we could possibly ask for,” the statement said.
