Lizzo Recalls Her Struggle After Sexual Harassment Charges

In her year-end social media message, Lizzo acknowledged the most difficult lessons she has learnt.

Taking to Instagram, the singer shared a carousel of photos that included a mirror selfie and a few thought-provoking phrases, underlining her problems in the aftermath of sexual harassment charges leveled against her former staffers.

According to the rapper, “Hardest pill I swallow this year was learning that no matter how good you could be to someone, no matter how much you love them, they can & they will turn their back on you and there’s absolutely nothing you can do but suck it up & keep moving forward.”

Among the other images were the singer’s sketch and a sunset with the words “everything is temporary” inscribed on it.

Previously, in August, the musician’s former colleagues sued her, accusing her of sexual, religious, and racial harassment, handicap discrimination, and creating a hostile work environment.

The notably body-positive artist, on the other hand, has angrily disputed these “false accusations.”

Later, Page Six stated that the artist and her legal team obtained written testimonies from 18 of her employees refuting the charges made by three of her ex-dancers in a sexual harassment case.
