If you were watching Food Network on Tuesday night, you might have seen a familiar Madison face on the show “Chopped”: Heritage Tavern owner and chef Dan Fox competed in the first round of the Julia Child’s Kitchen competition.
Fox, a James Beard award semifinalist and Madison Magazine’s 2013 Chef of the Year, is among 16 chefs in the five-part tournament that will award the winner a $25,000 prize. On Tuesday, he impressed the judges in his Food Network debut enough to secure a place in the finale, which will air Dec. 12.
