MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Local law enforcement agencies in Mansfield-Richland County are once again hosting the ‘Cram the Cruiser’ event this weekend at several local stores. The event is aimed at collecting non-perishable food items to help replenish the stocks of local food banks.
Residents might notice a patrol car parked outside their local grocery store this weekend. They are encouraged to meet and greet some of their local law enforcement officers, get to know them, and if possible, help them ‘Cram the Cruiser’ full of items.
The collection will take place at the following locations and times:
- Kroger’s on Ashland Rd.: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Kroger’s on Lexington Ave.: Monday starting at 9 a.m.
- Walmart on Possum Run Rd.: Friday starting at 2 p.m. and Sunday starting at 8 a.m.
The law enforcement agencies are calling on the community to come out and help make this event a success. The ‘Cram the Cruiser’ event is not just about collecting food items; it’s also an opportunity for the community to engage with their local law enforcement officers in a positive and meaningful way. Your support can make a significant difference to those in need in our community.
