The Dallastown basketball program enjoyed a pair of blowout victories over Elizabethtown on Tuesday night, with the Wildcat girls winning 66-10 at home and the boys cruising to a 54-28 road triumph.

The girls’ team improved to 3-0 this season, with Tuesday’s win joining 49-14 and 62-39 routs over the weekend. Dallastown simply overwhelmed the visiting Bears in their home opener, leading 22-2 after the first quarter and 54-4 at halftime. Praise Matthews led the Wildcats with 13 points, Alonna Dowell scored 12 and Ava Jamison knocked in 10. Campbell O’Neill and Harper Poff followed with nine and seven points, respectively.
In the season opener for the Dallastown boys, Kobe McNealy and Brytaen Wiedman each knocked home four 3-pointers and finished with 16 and 12 points, respectively, as the Wildcats found their offensive rhythm in the second half. Dallastown led 22-12 at the break before Wiedman made three 3s in the third quarter and the visitors stretched the lead to 37-20. McNealy added three more triples in the final frame to seal the deal. Ziveon Kyle and Chase McLane each notched seven points.
The Wildcat girls will visit Mifflin County this Saturday. Both teams will open their York-Adams Division I schedules against York High next Tuesday.

Central York 47, Governor Mifflin 42: At Governor Mifflin, the Panthers (2-1) outscored the Mustangs 15-7 in final quarter to allow them to take the lead and capture the non-league road victory. Kylie Rebert knocked in a game-high 17 points, including three 3-pointers, while teammate Alivia McCaskell scored 11 points.
South Western 68, Dover 33: At Hanover, Liv Sell scored a game-high 16 points to lead the Mustangs (1-0) to the easy non-divisional home victory. Teammate Carly Louey scored 12 points and Mac Shaffer knocked in 10. MaKenzie Gamber tallied 13 points, including three triples, for the Eagles (1-2).
West York 47, Lower Dauphin 32: At West York, Faith Walker led all scorers with 24 points, including a 9-for-10 night from the charity stripe, to lead the Bulldogs (2-0) to the non-league victory. Teammate Reagan Doll scored 10 points.
Biglerville 60, James Buchanan 50: At Biglerville, Eva Hollabaugh knocked in 16 points to lead the Canners (1-0) to the non-league home victory. Teammates Kierney Weigle scored 14 points. As a team, Biglerville shot 9 for 11 from the charity stripe.
Christian School of York 46, York Country Day 19: At Christian School of York, Riley Bell tallied a game-high 18 points to lead the Defenders (2-1) to the easy non-league victory. Teammate Cally Carpenter knocked in 14 points, while Madison Byrd scored 12. The Greyhounds fell to 0-3 with the loss.

Central York 90, Reading 73: At Central York, the Panthers (1-0) trailed 42-38 at halftime but outscored the reigning PIAA Class 6A champion Red Knights 28-5 in the third quarter and cruised to the victory. Brooklyn Nace led all scorers with 23 points, while teammate Ben Natal added 16. Ben Rill scored 15 and Greg Guidinger had 12 for the hosts.
New Oxford 68, Waynesboro 51: At Waynesboro, Idriz Ahmetovic led all scorers with 25 points and made 11 of 14 free throws to lead the Colonials (2-1) to the easy non-league victory. Teammate Brennan Holmes knocked in 16 points.
Bermudian Springs 49, Northern York 35: At York Springs, Lane Hubbard knocked in a game-high 15 points to lead the Eagles (2-1) to the non-league home victory. Teammate Tyson Carpenter scored 12 points. As a team, Bermudian Springs shot 17-of-20 from the foul line.
Manheim Central 49, West York 39: At Doe Run Elementary, the Bulldogs (0-1) trailed 37-34 after three quarters of play but were unable to make the comeback and dropped the non-league contest. Mark Walker and Grady Hoffman knocked in 10 points apiece to lead West York.
