Cougars fall in overtime
Class A No. 5 Greenwood Christian came up empty in the overtime period, taking a 54-41 home loss to Park Tudor on Tuesday. Max Booher led the Cougars (2-1) in defeat with 19 points.
Whiteland beaten in Columbus
A huge fourth-quarter rally helped Columbus East slip past visiting Whiteland, 57-53. Gavin Stubbe scored 15 points to lead the Warriors (1-1).

GCA comes up just short
Despite 27 points from Annaleece Jackson, who knocked down seven of her 10 3-point shots, Greenwood Christian took a 63-57 loss to Waldron on Tuesday. The Cougars (2-5) also got 10 points and 14 rebounds from Sydney Waldron, eight points from Izzy Howell and seven from Kate Reed.
Royals run past Warriors
Whiteland suffered a 64-33 setback to Roncalli. The Warriors (3-5) got 12 points from Gwen Higdon, seven from Samantha Roadruck and six from Sophia Dyer.
Lancers defeated by Twisters
Edinburgh came up on the short end of a 56-19 score against Oldenburg Academy on Tuesday. Kyah Streeval scored 11 points for the Lancers (1-7).

Warriors sweep three-way
Whiteland’s boys and girls both came out on top against Martinsville and Decatur Central on Tuesday. The girls swept all three relays and got individual wins from Sienna Delagrange (50 and 100 freestyle), Mallory Fields (200 free, 100 backstroke), Kate Barnes (200 IM), Erynn Price (100 butterfly) and Hannah Hrankowski (100 breaststroke). The Warrior boys got first-place efforts from Mason Benefield (200 IM), Chase Cooper (50 free), Noah Grady (diving), Davis Dwyer (100 free), Colten Franklin (500 free) and the 400 freestyle relay.
Center Grove to host HOF meet
The Indiana High School Swimming and Diving Hall of Fame will host the 14th annual Hall of Fame Classic at 10 a.m. this Saturday at Center Grove. In addition to the Trojans, the meet will also feature teams from Bloomington North, Chesterton, Concord, Floyd Central, Greenfield-Central and Zionsville. Dave Zhiss, a three-time state breaststroke champion from South Bend Adams, will be the guest speaker at the Hall of Fame luncheon.
