Lockton has announced the appointment of Edel Ryan as Practice Leader for the Entertainment Practice. The role is based in London and is effective from 2 May 2025.

Ryan will oversee the growth and development of Lockton’s entertainment insurance portfolio. She will lead the London team dedicated to delivering innovative and tailored solutions for clients across the entertainment and live events industry.

Ryan brings over 25 years of experience in the entertainment insurance industry. She was previously Managing Director & Strategic Growth Leader for the Sport, Entertainment and Media (SEM) Industry Practice at Marsh, and Head of Media & Entertainment for JLT. Edel started her London career with Robertson Taylor. She has a proven track record in building strong client relationships and managing complex insurance relationships as well as a reputation for developing innovative solutions to address clients’ ever-evolving risk profiles.
