Even during the offseason, New York Knicks and Rangers fans can watch their favorite teams on a new streaming service.
MSG Networks is planning to introduce MSG+, which will allow regional fans with access to the sports channel’s content. The service will be free to customers that subscribe to a paid service like a cable that includes the network. MSG+ will also be available as a separate monthly subscription for $29.99.
“MSG Networks is happy to be able to offer fans more options to enjoy our captivating and award-winning content,” said Andrea Greenber, MSG Networks president and CEO, in a press release.
MSG also just established MSG SportsZone to enable Knicks and Rangers fans across the country access to a library of MSG material. Those with Vizio TVs or the Plex streaming service have immediate access.
The relocation could not have occurred better since both New York-area sports teams are preparing for postseason competition. The Knicks are on a heated, seven-game win streak. Meanwhile, the Rangers are attempting to maintain their third-place divisional standing.
