Madonna’s Team Vows to ‘Vigorously Defend’ Her Against the Case

Madonna won’t go down without a fight.

After fans sued the pop diva for making them wait four and two hours for her New York concerts, Madonna’s management and Live Nation reacted with an explanation but no apology.

According to her staff, “Madonna just completed and sold out her 2023 Celebration Tour in Europe – which received rave reviews.”

They went on to say, “The shows opened in North America at Barclays in Brooklyn as planned, with the exception of a technical issue December 13th during soundcheck. This caused a delay that was well documented in press reports at the time.”

When asked what course of action they plan to take against the lawsuit, the team stated, “We intend to defend this case vigorously.”

Madonna, 65, enraged and incited fans two weeks ago by having them wait at the stars’ Celebration tour event in New York City on Wednesday.

The Material Girl hitmaker did not take the stage for her sold-out show until nearly 11 p.m., despite the fact that the U.S. leg of her tour was slated to begin at 8:30 p.m. at the Barclays Centre.

Concertgoers, on the other hand, refused to accept Madonna’s tardiness and demanded a refund, as she has apparently earned a reputation for annoying her fans during her concerts.
