ODENTON, Md. (WBFF) — Police in Anne Arundel County say they are searching for a man after they said he stole a 30-year-old woman’s car at the Odenton Shopping Center in Odenton.

Yesterday, at 9:50 p.m., officers with the Anne Arundel County Police Department responded to a carjacking at the Odenton Shopping Center along Annapolis Road in Odenton.
A 30-year-old woman was walking to her car when she was approached by a male suspect who displayed a handgun and demanded the keys to the woman’s car, a black 2021 Hyundai Elantra. The woman complied, and the suspect fled westbound on Annapolis Road in the stolen car.
Officers searched the area, but they were unable to find the car.
