A 60-year-old man was dragged to death after he fell beneath the wheels of a car pulling out of a Bronx gas station, police said Monday.
The victim fell in front of a 2013 Lincoln sedan whose driver was exiting a gas station on Jerome Ave. near Shakespeare Ave. about 5:20 p.m. Saturday, cops said.
The 45-year-old driver, apparently unaware she had struck someone, continued heading north on Jerome Ave, dragging the victim nearly 1,000 feet before stopping on Edward L Grant Highway, according to cops.
Medics rushed the victim to Lincoln Hosptial but he could not be saved. His name was not immediately released.
The Lincoln driver remained at the scene and has not been charged, cops said.
