TRINITY – A man accused of breaking into someone’s house and stealing the person’s car was arrested last week in the Charlotte area, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office said.

Jordan Avery Rich, 29, reportedly broke into a Trinity Road house in the Trinity area on March 28, the sheriff’s office said. When the resident ran to a neighbor’s house for help, Rich locked the door, took the person’s car keys and wallet, went out the back door and took a vehicle parked in the driveway.
