ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) – A man has been hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car on Thanksgiving.

According to Rockford Police, the man was walking in the roadway in area of Fulton and Grant when he was hit, around 8:45 p.m.

Authorities did not say whether the driver remained on the scene or whether criminal charges will be filed.
