
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – A man in Sauk County was arrested Saturday for allegedly driving while intoxicated after causing an accident in Franklin Township, officials report.
The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office was alerted of a car-motorcycle accident Saturday morning when they learned that the operator of the car may have been impaired. After failing field sobriety tests, the man was placed under arrest for his sixth offense of operating while intoxicated, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The man is facing the following charges:
- Operating while intoxicated 6th offense
- Fail to install ignition interlock
- Operating after revocation
- Operate left of center
The driver of the other motorcycle vehicle was transferred to a nearby hospital with non life threatening injuries, reported the sheriff.
