A man was rushed to the hospital after being hit by a car in downtown Chattanooga Saturday.

It happened in the 1900 block of Market Street around 3:30 P.M.

A spokesperson with CPD say officers arrived to find the victim with life-threatening injuries.

CPD has not shared if the driver stopped or if they’re cooperating with police.
