TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A man was hospitalized after being shot while inside a car on Fleet Road in Toledo Friday morning, according to officers with the Toledo Police Department.
TPD officers told 13 Action news crews on the scene that the adult male was taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have not identified a suspect at this time, however, they are looking for a vehicle in connection to the incident. Officers say an occupant may have tossed a gun out of the vehicle while on Reynold Road.
Officers say the shooting, which happened sometime around midnight Friday morning, is still under investigation due to conflicting reports. Anyone with information can contact the Toledo Police Department or Crime Stoppers at (419) 255-1111.
