TEXARKANA, Texas (KSLA) – A man was transported to the hospital after getting run over and stabbed afterwards.

It happened Friday (May 24) around 1:30 p.m. at 23rd Street at State Line Avenue in Texarkana. According to police, multiple men were arguing then one of them ran away, prompting two other men to chase after him.

The man running away stepped into the street and was struck by a passing vehicle pulling a lawnmower trailer. While the victim was down, he was stabbed by one of his pursuers.

The victim was taken to an area hospital. Currently, his condition is unknown.

One person has been arrested.
