
The chase ended in a car crash near I-16 and Highway 19. The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office encourages the public to keep their eyes open for suspicious persons.
The Georgia State Patrol was chasing a car when the driver crashed their vehicle near Highway 19 and I-16.
When the car crashed, the suspect jumped out of his car and ran on food.
Now, authorities are encouraging the public to keep an eye out for anyone suspicious walking in that area. they recommend calling 911 if you see anyone suspicious, the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office wrote.
They say that there will be a high presence of law enforcement in the area of Highway 19 and I-16.
Additionally, the sheriff’s office also encourages people to make sure their keys are out of their cars and their doors are locked.
The sheriff’s office says that they do not have a description at this time.
It is unclear what the Georgia State Patrol was chasing that individual for.
