Margot Robbie Is Seen Crashing a Dance Party in the New ‘Barbie’ Video

The new “Barbie” trailer, starring Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig, shows that the famous doll is about to become very self-aware.

Warner Bros. released the worldwide trailer for the highly anticipated film on Thursday, offering audiences one of their best looks yet at Barbie’s journey from the comfort of her own backyard to the exciting adult world beyond.

Robbie’s Barbie is seen interrupting a dance party by asking the people there, “Do you ever think about dying?”

She also says that “some things have been happening” to her that might be linked to that huge party-killer: cold showers, falling off her roof, and her feet falling flat to the ground.

The nearly three-minute trailer, which is set to a new song by pop star Dua Lipa, says that this is a feminist awakening movie for everyone, whether they like Barbie or not.

The trailer for Barbie gave a broad and funny look at the world that Gerwig and her writing partner Noah Baumbach created.

The trailer came out on the same day that a bunch of character posters did. The Barbies were played by Dua Lipa, Kate McKinnon, and Rita Arya. In contrast, Midge and Alan were played by Emerald Fennell and Michael Cera, respectively. Will Ferrell, America Ferrera, and Helen Mirren were real.
