Mariah Carey Wants Her Ex-Boyfriend Bryan Tanaka to ‘Find Someone Amazing’ After Their Divorce

Mariah Carey has only kind words for her ex-boyfriend Bryan Tanaka in the aftermath of their breakup.

The former couple had been married for seven years before splitting up early this year.

According to rumors, their divorce was caused by their conflicting future aspirations; Tanaka wanted to have children with the singer, whilst Carey does not want to extend her family.

“Mariah doesn’t have anything bad to say about Bryan,” a source assures Life & Style. “They had a good run, over seven years, they had a lot of fun together and Bryan was always respectful.”

They stated that the two intend to remain friends after their breakup and that the Emotions singer wants Tanaka to “find someone special and go after his dreams.”

Mariah and Bryan fueled romance suspicions when they were seen packing on the PDA in late 2016.

Bryan had known the singer for about ten years before that, having served as a backup dancer on her Adventures of Mimi Tour in 2006.

Though they primarily kept their relationship private, Carey and Tanaka stoked suspicions of marital strife during the latter’s absence from her Merry Christmas One and All! Tour last month.
