The Class of 1979 of Marian High School celebrated its 45th  class reunion recently with a three-day event in Jim Thorpe. Leo Marzen organized the reunion and hosted the reunion dinner on Aug. 30 at Mauch Chunk Ballroom. Leo and his wife, Judy, also hosted a cocktail reception Aug. 31 at his home. On Sept. 1, the class attended Mass at Immaculate Conception Church. Plans are already underway for the 50th class reunion in 2029.
