Mark Robinson talks rural arts, development with Maury community


MAURY — A fledgling performing arts effort in Greene County received a bolster of support from Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson during a visit to Maury on Oct. 30 to meet with local leaders about the initiative for area youth.

“I can’t think of a more sensible investment to make in a young person than introducing them to the arts,” Robinson told those gathered at Maury Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
