A 1-year-old girl was flown to a Boston hospital with life-threatening injuries Friday as a result of an early-morning car crash in Andover, according to Massachusetts State Police.
The driver, a 33-year-old woman, was taken to Lawrence General Hospital with minor injuries, police said in a press release.
A 2017 Toyota Camry was traveling north on I-495 in Andover when the driver lost control of the car, police said. The Camry went into the grass median, then into an embankment where it hit a tree.
