Matthew Perry Was Remembered on ‘Saturday Night Live’ After His Tragic Passing

People in the entertainment business are shocked and saddened by the sudden death of Mathew Perry.

TMZ says that the famous actor from Friends sadly died on October 28 by drowning in his home jacuzzi.

Later that night, Perry’s name was shown next to a black-and-white picture of him on Saturday Night Live as a tribute to the actor.

It was followed by a moment of silence right before the “Good Night” part of the show.

There was music by Foo Fighter and Nate Bargatze was the host for the night.

Perry was 54 years old when he died. He hosted SNL on October 4, 1997, when his hit TV show was at its most popular.

Oasis played music at the Friends star’s gig as a host.

In Perry’s SNL episode, there was a parody of Friends. Perry played Joey, a part created by Matt LeBlanc, and cast member Colin Quinn played Chandler.

Perry, who played Joey on the sketch show, didn’t like Quinn’s character very much.

Mathew Perry was found dead at his home in Los Angeles on that awful Saturday, according to TMZ, which got its information from law enforcement sources.

The news outlet was told that there was no foul play, and their sources said that first responders were called to the house because they thought someone was having a heart arrest.
