Matthew Perry’s mother, father, and stepfather made their first public appearance, arriving at their son’s Los Angeles home shortly after the Friends star’s lifeless body was discovered in his hot pool.
On Saturday, October 28, the beloved Friends star sadly drowned in his personal jacuzzi.
Aerial photographs showed the immediate aftermath of the traumatic incident, with numerous police officers protecting the area. A white tent had been set up in the backyard, next to the swimming pool and hot tub.
Matthew Perry’s 82-year-old father, actor John Bennett Perry, arrived in the evening, accompanied by the star’s mother, Suzanne, and stepfather, Keith Morrison. As they neared the house, the three appeared to be in astonishment.
According to sources, he was discovered in a jacuzzi at the property, but no narcotics were recovered at the site, and there was no evidence of foul play.
Perry rose to prominence as ‘Chandler Bing’ on the iconic 90s sitcom Friends, which lasted ten seasons.
His father, John, had also appeared as Mr Burgin in the 1998 Friends episode The One With Rachel’s New Dress, as the father of Jennifer Aniston’s character Rachel’s boyfriend Joshua Burgin, played by Tate Donovan.
Perry recently surprised followers by releasing a photo of him and his father on social media.
