MCC Fine Arts Gallery Features “The Next Step”

Mott Community College’s (MCC) Fine Arts Gallery will present “The Next Step,” an art exhibition by the Associate of Fine Arts Degree Candidates from the Studio Arts Program. This exhibition will run from Dec. 4, through Jan. 19, 2024. The exhibition is a diverse fusion of styles and genres featuring Julia Churchman of Fenton, Brandon Emmons of Holly, Samantha Crow of Clio, Kobe Gilbert of Flint and Patience Jones of Flint. “Students in Mott Community College’s Studio Arts program take a variety of foundation-level and advanced-level studio arts courses before graduating with their Associates of Fine Arts degree. This exhibition highlights their work while celebrating their journey as Studio Art majors at Mott Community College,” said Tim Kranz, professor of Art. The MCC Fine Arts Gallery is in room 128 of the Visual Arts and Design Center on the College’s main campus in Flint at 1401 E. Court St., Flint. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The exhibition and any presentations are free and open to the public.
