Meg Ryan radiated elegance and vitality during her Wednesday evening talk show appearance in Los Angeles.
The 61-year-old actress commanded attention in an all-black ensemble, replete with black sunglasses and black military boots. Her blonde hair fell in soft tendrils around her face, framing it.
The sleeveless dress revealed a tattoo on the arm that read, “Life is short.” Her presence was reminiscent of her heyday more than three decades ago, when she presided as the queen of romantic comedies, starring in such beloved films as Sleepless in Seattle and You’ve Got Mail.
Since 1999, the actress has been promoting her first romantic comedy, What Happens Later. Her co-star is X-Files icon David Duchovny.
Alongside David Duchovny, she directed, wrote, and starred in her most recent production, What Happens Later.
What Happens Later, the new romantic comedy starring Meg Ryan, opens in theaters on November 3.
