Megan Fox Gives Marital Advice in Her Poetry Collection

Megan Fox is providing candid love advice in the aftermath of her whirlwind romance with fiancé Machine Gun Kelly.

Fox, who has been in an on-again, off-again relationship with MGK since 2020, dives into the delicate mechanics of love as she prepares to release her new poetry book titled Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.

She doesn’t sugarcoat it; she admits that relationships can be ‘ugly’ and seem like a ‘war zone.’

She does, however, feel that these traumatic experiences can ultimately lead to personal growth and the evolution of a ‘stronger version of yourself.’

Fox discussed her next book, which will be released on November 7, with People magazine.

She explained that the novel is inspired by a variety of sources, combining literal and allegorical themes.

Some of the poems are reminiscent of Grimm’s fairy tales, while others reflect the essence of memes in internet culture.

Most significantly, Fox stressed that her work is relatable to women, allowing a platform for self-expression that acting does not often provide.

Megan Fox put it bluntly: “For most of us, it’s not a fairy tale. Relationships are not pretty. They are ugly. Sometimes they are a war. But through a wound enters an opportunity to grow and become a stronger, more whole version of yourself.”

She poignantly wrote in this revealing passage, “you are an addiction that no amount of prayers will ever cure.”
