Meghan Markle in negotiations for multimillion-dollar Audible podcast deal

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is reportedly on the verge of signing a multimillion-dollar contract with Audible, Amazon’s podcast production partner. This deal could potentially mark a significant turning point in her Hollywood career.

According to sources, the proposed contract is generating considerable buzz and is expected to yield an even larger payout than her previous multimillion-dollar deal with Spotify.

Meghan is said to be excited about the prospect, especially given her company’s association with former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama, who also signed a deal with Audible in 2022.

Despite her optimism, the Duchess has faced setbacks, particularly following her exit from the Spotify deal, which was a substantial blow to her ego. However, the rumored Audible deal offers her a chance for redemption.

Meghan feels the pressure to stand out

While Meghan feels ready to work with Audible, the pressure and stakes are high. The deal could potentially make or break her brand in Hollywood, and she is fully aware of the expectations and scrutiny that come with it.

Her past experience with the Spotify deal, which ended prematurely, has Hollywood’s power brokers closely monitoring her next move.

She signed with WME (William Morris Endeavor) in April, led by CEO Ari Emanuel and his team. WME represents top talent across various entertainment sectors and offers a wide range of services, including acting, writing, fashion, and brand licensing.

The Duchess of Sussex’s Plan B

While Meghan’s exact career direction remains uncertain, some sources suggest she may be considering a return to acting.

Meghan seems very confident at the moment, but the reality is that she’s been in a pretty desperate spot,” a source close to Markle claimed.

As the negotiations with Audible progress, the world watches to see if Meghan Markle’s next major podcast deal will secure her foothold in the fiercely competitive world of entertainment.
