
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The No. 22/22 Alabama men’s basketball team will host the final game of its four-game homestand to start the 2023-24 season, as the Crimson Tide will face Mercer at 7 p.m. CT Friday night inside Coleman Coliseum.
The Tide has currently won 18-straight games at Coleman, which ranks as the fifth-longest home winning streak in Division I, winning by an average of 26.6 points per contest.
In its first three games of the season, Alabama has scored 309 points (103.0 ppg) which is the most in program history since the 1956-57 season (315 points). UA enters the contest as one of six teams in the country that is averaging 100 points per game.
The Broadcast
Friday’s game is set for a 7 p.m. CT tipoff and will be aired on the SEC Network+ with Gray Robertson (play-by-play), Richard Hendrix (analyst) and Nathan Brown (sideline) on the call.
The radio broadcast can be heard on the Crimson Tide Sports Network with Chris Stewart (play-by-play), Bryan Passink (analyst) and Roger Hoover (sideline) on the call, while Tom Stipe (engineer) is turning the dials. The pregame show will begin one hour prior to tipoff.

- In his first five years at Alabama, head coach Nate Oats has won 95 games which is the most by a coach in UA program history

- Mercer has forced 18.0 turnovers per game through three outings, good enough for 33rd, nationally
- MU has turned in 9.3 steals per game (68th NCAA) this season
- Mercer’s 13 steals at Morehead State on Tuesday marked its most swipes in nearly a full calendar year
- Jalyn McCreary was named to the Preseason All-SoCon team
