FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton’s men’s basketball hosted its annual Tip-Off Dinner Fundraiser on Sunday, October 29th at Titan Student Union. Players were accompanied by coaches, friends, family and alumni at the event. All funds raised at the Tip-Off Dinner go directly towards supporting the Titan men’s basketball program.

The event began with food and drinks while guests perused the silent auction items. After the silent auction closed and the social hour ended, guests sat down to enjoy Mexican cuisine from El Camino Family Restaurant. President Alva welcomed fans and thanked them for their loyal support over the years. Then, Athletic Director Jim Donovan gave brief remarks before inviting Head Coach Dedrique Taylor up to introduce his coaching staff and team and share some thoughts on last season and the upcoming season.

“Thank you to everyone who came out to support this program,” Taylor said. “I hope you enjoyed getting to know the 2023-24 team. They are a special group of young men. I’m happy to see so much support for these guys. I would like to extend a special thank you to my staff, team, administration and all the alumni for sponsoring our current student athletes.”
