Men’s Tennis at Yale Invitational This Weekend – University of Pennsylvania Athletics


PHILADELPHIA– The Penn men’s tennis team will head to New Haven, Connecticut to compete in the Yale Invitational. The three-day event will run from Friday through Sunday at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center.

Penn is coming off a trip to the ITA Northeast Super Regional, in which six Quakers were able to compete. Senior Sameer Gangoli advanced to the round of 16 in singles to highlight Penn’s performance in the regional.

This weekend, the invitational will be singles and doubles in a tournament style format. Manfredi Graziani, Luka Butera, Tal Goodman and Matt Rutter will compete in singles, while in doubles play Graziani/Butera and Goodman/Rutter will be the pairings for the weekend.

In addition to the host Bulldogs and the Quakers, teams expected to play this weekend are Cornell, Columbia, NJIT, Dartmouth, Brown and Boston University.
Matches will be played indoors and will belive streamed throughout the weekend.

Schedule
Friday: Warmups begin 11:30a.m. — matches run from 1-8p.m.
Saturday: Warmups begin 8:30a.m. — matches run from 10a.m. – 5/6p.m.
Sunday: Warmups begin 8:30a.m. — matches run from 10a.m. – 5/6p.m.
