CHAPEL HILL, N.C.—The University of North Carolina men’s tennis team kicked off its 2024 dual match season on Thursday with a doubleheader against a pair of in-state opponents. The Tar Heels, ranked No. 13 in the nation in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association poll, beat Campbell, 4-0, to begin the afternoon.
The Tar Heels took the doubles point to start the match against the Camels. Peter Murphy and freshman Patrick Schoen cruised to a win in their match at No. 3 doubles, 6-1 over Pol Otin and Noe Macquart.
