UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Temple men’s tennis (1-3) came up just two points short of a win against Penn State University (2-1), with an overall score of 4-3. This marks the fourth of six consecutive away matches for the Owls. 

NOTES

• The Owls upheld competitive play in doubles action, winning the second position match. Erden Er/Henrique Petiz tabbed their first win as a pair, tying the score by finishing second after a first position loss. In the tie-breaking match, Martim Marujo/Adam Kresina were point-for-point with Loren Byers/Jack Martuccio, the Nittany Lions topping the Owls by a tie-breaking seventh point.  
• Dante Russo, Adam Kresina, and Aayush Bhat logged their second singles points of the season. Moving up to the second position, Russo dominated Loren Byers with a 6-4 score in both sets. From the fifth position, Kresina topped Nolan Ranger 6-4, 7(7)-6(5).In a competitive match from the sixth position, Bhat defeated Alexander Sterin in the first and third sets with a final score of 6(5)-7(7), 6-3, 10-8.
