Men’s Tennis Falls at St. John’s to Open Spring


FLUSHING MEADOWS, N.Y. – Quinnipiac men’s tennis fell 7-0 at St. John’s on Wednesday afternoon at the USTA National Tennis Center in New York. 

The doubles team of Shaurya Sood and Daniel Velek won their doubles match but it was not enough to secure the doubles point.  

Velek was also the lone Bobcat to take a set from St. John’s.

Kaneda (SJU) Def. Donovan Brown (QU): 6-4, 6-1 

Raicevic (SJU) Def. Gaurav Mootha (QU): 6-4, 7-5
