EAST LANSING, Mich. – Brown men’s tennis wrapped up its trip to the Great Lakes Region with a 5-2 loss against Western Michigan on Michigan State’s campus in East Lansing.
The Bears won the doubles point to take an early lead in the match. Senior Chun Lam and sophomore Noah Hernandez first won second doubles (6-3) and junior Alex Finkelstein and sophomore Zander Bravo later took first doubles in a tiebreaker (7-6 (0-1)).
Western Michigan then secured third and second singles wins before Bravo defeated freshman Matej Kojzer at fifth singles to even the match at two (6-3, 7-6 (7-5). The Broncos then took sixth, fourth and first singles to take the victory from the Bears.

Brown plays its spring home opener on Saturday against Boston College at the Pizzitola Sports Center at noon.
