FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast University men’s tennis is heading to Orlando on Saturday to face UCF at 12 p.m.
The Eagles are coming off a 5-2 victory over Troy last Saturday. The doubles point was completed in an efficient 48 minutes before eventually winning 5-2.
Hugo Magnusson was part of the clinching doubles team with partner Eric Oncins. Ninad Raut eventually clinched the overall match with a win on court five.
The Orlando trip will be a homecoming for Harry Michalowski who was named 2022 Central Florida Boys Athlete of the Year and Tennis Player of the Year.
UCF will provide a formidable foe with the No. 95 singles player and No. 20 doubles pairing in the country.
Following this match, the Green and Blue continue their road trip with a Feb 2 match against FAU.
