ELON, N.C. – The Elon University men’s tennis team and head coach Michael Leonard unveiled the program’s 2024 spring schedule on Tuesday. The maroon and gold will compete in 22 regular season matches, including 12 at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center. 

FULL 2024 ELON MEN’S TENNIS SCHEDULE
 
For the second straight season, Elon kicks off the season against Wake Forest on Jan. 15. The Phoenix will then play two more road matches against Georgia State (Jan. 20) and North Carolina (Feb. 8) before hosting South Carolina State in its home opener on Feb. 13. The contest against South Carolina State will be the start of a five-match homestand, as Elon will also host Campbell (Feb. 17), UNC Asheville (Feb. 18), Gardner-Webb (Feb. 22) and Hampton (Feb. 24) in consecutive matches. 
 
Following the homestand, Elon will play four of its next five matches on the road. The Phoenix travels to face North Carolina State on Feb. 25 and East Tennessee State on Feb. 29 before returning home for a match against Fairfield on March 6. Elon will then hit the road for a pair of matches in South Carolina against Wofford on March 9 and Presbyterian on March 10. 
 

Elon then enters its second five-match homestand of the season, beginning with a clash against James Madison on March 12. The Phoenix will then host Coastal Carolina (March 16), Shaw (March 20), Davidson (March 20) and Charlotte (March 22). 
 
Three straight matches on the road follow the home stretch, beginning with a contest against William & Mary on March 25. Elon then plays Liberty on April 7 before a night match against UNC Greensboro on April 10. 
 
The Phoenix closes the regular season against Radford on April 12. The maroon and gold will then set its sights on the CAA Tournament, which William & Mary will host for the second consecutive year on April 18-21.
