CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina men’s tennis team is set to travel to Cary, N.C. for a return to the ITA Carolina Regionals on Oct. 20-24. 

This weekend’s tournament marks the Chants first action in nearly a month after hosting the CCU Battle at the Beach on Sept. 23-24. Coastal posted a 14-10 record across singles and doubles play against Campbell, College of Charleston, and Wofford, with seniors Carlos Berna Ruiz and Lucas Wayenburg each picking up three individual wins. 

This year’s ITA Regionals features a field of 23 schools, including power-five representatives such as Duke, South Carolina, Clemson and Wake Forest.    

CCU will feature a near-complete lineup this weekend, including Ryuya Ata, Berna Ruiz, Rivers Cahill, Jesus Garcia, Guilherme Toresan, and Wayenburg.   

Day one from the ITA Carolina Regionals begins tomorrow at 9 a.m. ET, with Carlos Berna Ruiz and Jesus Garcia in the opening round of singles.
