NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Middle Tennessee men’s tennis team continued play at day two of the Vanderbilt Hidden Duals on Saturday.
The Blue Raiders competed against Georgia Tech and Belmont.
In doubles, MTSU earned two doubles wins. Igor Mandou Berranger and Leo Raquin defeated Shokry and DeMuth of Georgia Tech 8-1. Karim Al-Amin and Ondrej Horak tallied an 8-4 victory over Georgia Tech’s Sachdev and Bauer.
In singles, the Blue Raiders totaled six victories. Demis Taramonlis won 6-2, 6-4 against Bauer of Georgia Tech. Horak picked up a 7-5, 6-3 win over Georgia Tech’s Biagiotti. Javier Cueto Ramos earned a 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 victory over Shokry of Georgia Tech. Mandou Berranger recorded a 3-6, 6-2, 6-4 win against GT’s Sachdev. Raquin tallied a 6-7, 6-4, 6-4 victory over Brancatelli of GT. Al-Amin defeated Belmont’s Castro 6-7, 6-0, 7-5.
